Finally ordered the pics from State DWY. They were available until Dec. 31st. Hesitated, because they were pricey, but we decided on three we just had to have.
The music to this was a great song by Frank Sinatra. Each girl had to twirl at a particular part during the song and Aubrey's twirl was captured at such an adorable instant.
Picking her question. What would be your summer dream job?

October 2014 Happenings
OH NO !!! A ZOMBIE for HOMECOMING WEEK
They dressed up in a different way every day, but this was the only picture taken.
The parade. Curtis, Courtney and boys had just arrived in Malad just a before the parade. They came for General Conference and Fall Break.
Nathan, ready and waiting to go to the Conference Center for the Saturday afternoon session.
Dad, Aubrey, myself and the younger boys enjoyed Temple Square.
Bracken was a bit shy about going closer to the statue, but he really enjoyed his time there and soaked up everything.
We had as many fire pit sessions as possible. These boys are now very good at cooking Woof ems.
Nathan got to go fishing with Tony and grandpa. They woke up very early, caught two fish and then the men hurried on to work.
We cooked the fish, in a frying pan on the fire pit ,on the last night. It tasted pretty good.

Labor Day
We wanted to see what Cherry Hill water park and camp ground was like. So, we called to see if a tent site was still open, since it was Labor Day week end. I had tried Bear Lake. Also need to learn about that place. Bear Lake required a 3 day minimum at the KOA. We only had Sunday night available for leaving Malad.
Never camped on nice grass before. It certainly is not messy. The tent sites are close together, but we had one space empty on one side and two spaces on the other. There is a trailor park next to Cherry Hill. It is not too dumpy.
This summer we have had this gas fire pit and it is very wonderful to pull out quickly and roast up something.
It is also nice to just have on, to see a fire ,and keep warm.
We tried to think of things Aubrey could do. Her doctor had not cleared her for swimming or to submerged the surgery site in water. Miniature golfing worked out well. It is part of all the Cherry Hill attractions.

got the sunflowers
We finally got BIG sunflowers. The package said they would grow 4 feet. Just wanted them for some shade. The pumpkins most likely will not make it to full maturity this year, but we tried. July fourteenth, with a cool spell, just is not enough time to get huge.

Aubrey's senior year
This is actually the second day of school. The first day was a bit busy with all of us getting out of the house around the same time. I left first and realized I had not remembered to take a picture. Dad remembered but could not find the camera. I had left the camera near my purse and not in it's usual place. Bailey was so great to pick Aubrey up for school.

our garden attempt
This area does not have great soil, so I have been building it up. I planted some sunflower seed in the back part because this area also gets very hot from the siding and tall plants might help. There are two tomato plants, a grape tomato and a roma. One green pepper, that is ending up being a green chile plant. Hope it is not too hot. Marigolds are all around because I have heard they help with bugs. And from trying to build the soil, there are some volunteer sweet potato plants randomly growing here and there.
I planted the green pepper because it is a vegetable Aubrey eats. She does not eat green chile.
The first red tomatos.
Just waiting for the sunflower part.
not part of the garden ........ a black horse and a cherry tree.
The pumpkins are started. A bit late, but they are on their way. I don't consider them part of the veggie garden. They are our fun, talk of the town, yard adornment.
