It's officialy Spring

I got out Prescott Pig today.
I don't like to see him out in the cold, snowy weather all Winter.

I don't know if I am just imagining it, but it seems like  there are a lot of lady bugs around this year.  When I took this picture it had turned very windy and they were crawling to protection.  But, when it was nice there were 6 to 10 lady bugs together  all along the branches, when I was trimming the trees.

The tulips are kind of mini this year.  I am quite sure, in years past, they were taller, but this year most of them are not even 12 inches high.  I thought the boys would like this view with the skate park.

Time for freezer jam.  YUM !

look familiar?

Yep.
Another family member, on the couch, with a leg in a CPM machine -( that's new), exhausted, with balloons of comfort and love, while healing from ACL knee surgery.

Aubrey's surgery was in the morning on Thursday April 11th.  The drain tube needed  taken out the following morning ,so we stayed in Pocatello, a hotel, rather than drive home and back.

Aubrey did very well with not getting nauseated, so Dad got her a special treat, after a meal of chicken strips and french fries from Applebee's.

Awake and enjoying regulating the machine.  She can stop it when it begins to hurt.

This is what we found when she could shower and change the bandage.

Easter and sewing

Our Computer got very sick, but is now better.  We're back.

I don't like either of these pictures very much, but here we are.  I was personally extremely tired and the only thing I did with my hair was get up very early for a Stake Primary meeting, drip dry and put it up half way.  Who schedules a Stake meeting on Easter morning?

Thought we would try a full sun shot.  The yard was not green at all this Easter.

I have had a hard time saying good-bye to my old Kenmore sewing machine.  It has been a problem to sew on for years, but  has served me well and all the quirks just seemed part of the whole ordeal.
I have not switched out everything, but I got out the new machine given to me for my birthday (THANK YOU AGAIN) and sewed away one day.  Love to sew, but don't like to be interupted. (They don't go well together)  I covered the pillows on the couch in the quest to add (proper) color to the room. (trying to get rid of the red)  I used  fabric samples so I had to piece things together.
