Labor Day

We wanted to see what Cherry Hill water park and camp ground was like. So, we called to see if a tent site was still open, since it was Labor Day week end.  I had tried Bear Lake.  Also need to learn about that place.  Bear Lake required a 3 day minimum at the KOA.  We only had Sunday night available for leaving Malad.

Never camped on nice grass before.  It certainly is not messy.  The tent sites are close together, but we had  one space empty on one side and two spaces on the other. There is a trailor park next to Cherry Hill.  It is not too dumpy.

This summer we have had this gas fire pit and it is very wonderful to pull out quickly and roast up something.

It is also nice to just have on, to see a fire ,and keep warm.

We tried to think of things Aubrey could do.  Her doctor had not cleared  her for swimming or to submerged  the surgery site in water. Miniature golfing worked out well.  It is part of all the Cherry Hill attractions.

got the sunflowers

We finally got BIG sunflowers.  The package said they would grow 4 feet. Just wanted them for some shade.  The pumpkins most likely will not make it to full maturity this year, but we tried.  July fourteenth, with a cool spell, just is not enough time to get huge.

A Senior Dragon Lives Here

Aubrey brought home the sign for the window.  I think they are way cool!
