These last pictures are of the mess created. Many times I wondered if we were really improving the house. For days we seemed to just mess it up--but the last day we were able to put furniture back and clean. Some nights we slept downstairs where things remained normal. The final evening we slept at Curtis and Courtney's so the beds, bathrooms and kitchen would remain untouched. We were all getting very tired!
We (Kendal, Aubrey and I) were gone for 10 days, during Malads spring break, to Prescott. Plans had been set in motion to improve the flooring. JE Crockett and his right hand man Andrew took 3 days to lay the wood flooring and 2 days to cut and lay the carpet. The carpet looks light, but it does have speckles of browns and even some black. Aubrey and I scraped and painted some of the deck, the outside window frames and an outside door. It was very frustrating trying to match paint color, but we tried our best. Aubrey did yard work and Kendal did a bit of painting and yard work once he figured he could be out in the sun. The weather was cold and windy for a few days, but we did get some Arizona sun.
Each evening we ate dinner with CK2 and family. It was so nice to leave the mess, play with the boys, and have access to a computer. One evening Aubrey went to the Mesa Eater Pegeant with the Moore Family.
