Many of these shots were taken with the camera on the truck or the ground, using the timer. Pretty good !

Sunday activities
Grandma getting re-acquainted with the piano she bought and used to give piano lessons, practice and accompany many, many soloists, quartets, choirs, programs and plays. The first community play where I watched her play the entire score was Camelot.
Sometimes Kendal gets very hungry at non meal times. Here I could not even get him to eat the creamy noodles with a fork. I am sure keeping the minimal dirty dishes was also a factor.
Here is another time on Sunday evening when cutting the quesadillas, putting them on a plate and using a napkin, were just too much effort.

Joseph and Mary
Kendal and Aubrey were cast as Joseph and Mary for our Ward Christmas program. The script was called the Two witnesses of Christs Birth--The Bible and the Book of Mormon. Dad took this picture when the program was finished, because the actual presentation was a bit chaotic with primary children and youth coming and going, narrating and singing. Joseph and Mary were never together during the presentation.
On one side of the "riser stage" were the Bible characters and the other side the Book of Mormon characters.
It was a nice program. Very typical, with kids ages 4 to 18, with none or very little practice. There was one walk through practice-don't know how many really attended.

icicles (real and lights)
This house has a metal roof and boy does the snow just slip off when the conditions are right.
At night.
The front of the house. A lot of snow has melted today. Dad and Kendal put the lights up last week, before the snow came. Smart!
I took some candid pictures of Grandpa and Grandma visiting after the funeral, cemetary and meal. They were able to enjoy the whole day without getting too tired or overwhelmed. Aunt Yvonne gave grandma a good haircut and with a suit on, you can't see how thin grandpa actually is. Everyone enjoyed talking to them--it was a long trip for two old people to make. Uncle Bobe took them to Salt Lake and Uncle Tito took them back to Deming.

Thanksgiving in Mapleton
The gathering for the program.
Kendal said Austin is a really fun little(BIG) kid
Grandma playing a solo.
Aubrey playing a violin solo she has done for two Sacrament meetings, so far. Grandma accompanied her --the song was A Poor Way Fairy Man of Grief.
Ash, Allison and David.
Dad singing Love At Home.
Kendal put in the CD of Josh Turner, while they were driving to Mapleton with Grandma--she heard Kendal singing along to one of the songs and asked if he would please sing,( right a long with the CD), in the program.
Sarah and Hailey.
Sarah and Tyson.
More of the group.
The Barry Kings were sparse this year. Only Greg, Jen and Hailey were at the meal--Ashley and Adam came for the program and Crystal and Jason arrived for a while late in the evening.
I was not there so maybe some of the information might not be correct. Our family was sparse also!
I understand there was dancing after the program.

MHS football team is going to State playoffs
A little chilly waiting to load the bus. Our traveling bus in red and white. When Dad has more say about things , it would be nice if Ireland Bank donated a proper black and orange paint job for the traveling bus!
The first quarter was nerve racking because we were having a hard time doing anything on offense and we were having a hard time stopping the other team on defense.
THEN, Kendal caught this great pass and ran down the field a good bit-- this really sparked up our team.
Half time score. The New Plymouth team is very good. They had a great QB, they hit hard and really covered the field.
Kendal working hard.
Final score. Kendal played A LOT of the game. It was great. 2A State Championship game is in Pocatello on Friday against West Side (our neighborly rivals)
